2019 Church Appeal - Ghana

This year’s Catholic Mission Church Appeal highlights the life-saving work supported by Catholic Mission in Ghana, through programs designed to rescue babies and children who are vulnerable and foster their personal development for a brighter future.

Parishioners are invited to reach out through their financial gifts and prayers in support of the work of the Church in Ghana, to be present in the lives of those young people who come from a place of great need.

The parish resources have been created to help your parish conduct a successful Catholic Mission Church Appeal, and include the following:

Parish Kit – includes opening and closing prayers, parish bulletin notices, speakers' notes and ideas, and homily notes.
Poster – to be put up in your church prior to the appeal weekend.
Video – to be played during mass on the appeal weekend (if AV facilities are available).
Appeal Envelope – to be placed in the pews on the appeal weekend.
Summary Form – easy-to-use form to reconcile donations.

World Mission Month Appeal – India

The 2019 Catholic Mission World Mission Appeal highlights the missionary work of Jesuit priests Father Raymond De Souza and Father Rajesh Lobo, who are following the call to serve children from disadvantaged areas, broken families, and other situations of need in the remote mountainous state of Nagaland in north-eastern India.

Father Raymond and Father Rajesh run the Eden Gardens Children’s Home, where over 250 children are given the physical and spiritual water they need to be able to strive towards their dreams.

Parishioners are invited to reach out through their financial gifts and prayers in support of the work of the Eden Gardens Children’s Home, to be present in the lives of those young people who come from a place of great need.
